This project was a UBC assignment on urban portraiture. The project originated as an attempt to characterize various Vancouver neighborhoods by the individuals photographed. The project developed into a spin-off, where 3 elements were chosen to do essentially the same thing: the character, the supporting character or friend, and the appropriate vehicle or ride. I chose people in the Kitsilano, Commercial Drive, Yaletown, Downtown East-side, Main Street and Chinatown areas.
